" I invite you to view my new 2008 collection on my Website at: www.jhebert.ca About Jacques Philippe Hébert Jacques Philippe Hébert was born on June 7, 1952 and has lived most of his life in the city of Laval, Quebec. He studied Arts at Cégep du Vieux Montréal during the 1970s. He then embarked on a career in the business world in which he succeeded thanks to his tenacity, his discipline and his innate sense of management. But throughout his career, he regretted not having pursued his deep dream, and it was not until 25 years later that he decided to return to his first passion for painting. br> Jacques being a perfectionist and passionate, he puts himself to work relentlessly and expresses through his art deep emotions with an obsession and a continual commitment and a meteoric evolution. In 2002, Jacques Philippe Hébert was proclaimed "Discovery" at the Salon d'Automne International des Beaux-Arts in Montreal. In the spring of 2003 he held his first successful solo exhibition. Over the years, Jacques Philippe Hébert has experienced a particularly prolific experimental phase which allowed him to develop and perfect his unique and exclusive expression technique. During a trip to Italy in 2003, he was impressed by the work of blown glass and stained glass artisans as well as their skill in conveying depth using color. Intrigued, he participated in several practical workshops on blown glass in Murano, Italy. Subsequently, adapting glasswork to his own style became a personal challenge and even an obsession for him. His abstract creations evolved into a multidisciplinary approach to self-expression: painting on canvas, sculptural manipulation of glass, then the combination of two substrates in the final phase. In addition, the addition of colored glass as a material always encourages Jacques Philippe Hébert to travel the world in order to unearth the rarest and most refined specimens in order to enrich his own palette. This is how he developed an exclusive technique of which he is the creator. Over the past two years, Jacques has made significant inroads in Canada, Mexico, and the American market. He offers us a brand new collection full of creativity that we invite you to view on his Website at: www.jhebert.ca For more information contact: America: 514 941-4493 or send an email to: info@jhebert.ca
